This business grew out of years of hosting gatherings centered on good whiskey, thoughtful cocktails, and food made from scratch. What started as a personal passion became something more defined over time: a way to bring people together around bold flavor, genuine hospitality, and an experience worth remembering.
The name 100 Proof People comes from a simple belief: some people are the real thing. They’re the ones that show up, bring energy to the room, and make a gathering matter. That’s who these events are built for. With authentic food, craft cocktails made from scratch, and an experience that feels deliberate from start to finish, the goal isn’t to make things fussy. It’s to make them memorable — with bold flavor, strong hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels effortless.

How It Works
Food, Cocktails and Mocktails
We can pair your menu with either cocktails or mocktails, depending on the kind of event you want to host.
For alcoholic cocktails, we set things up in a way that is legal and responsible. At private in-home events, we provide the food, paired cocktail recipes, and light spirits education, while a licensed bartender service can handle mixers, preparation, and pouring. The host supplies the alcohol based on a shopping list we provide. At licensed venues, we provide the food and pairing experience while the venue handles alcohol service.
For mocktails, we can provide the pairing experience directly, without the bartender or liquor-license concerns that come with alcohol.

Yes! We’re happy to share background on the food, featured spirits, and paired cocktails with your guests. It’s designed to feel conversational rather than formal — a relaxed, educational element that adds context, encourages interaction, and helps make the experience more memorable.

We can recommend a bartending service who we provide recipes for. They bring all the non-alcoholic ingredients, mixers, barware, ice, etc and do all the mixing and serving.
